Mike Turner has been writing about wine since leaving his old profession of banking in 2014.
He founded Please Bring Me My Wine as a wine blog in order to learn more about the world of wine. He has since become a contributing writer for wine trade journal, The Buyer, and wine tourism magazine, The Winerist. He is a member of the Circle of Wine Writers.
Mike also runs the UK operations of 20h33, a Bordeaux based private wine sales company specialising in French wines and wine tourism. He part owns a restaurant called La Ferme London in Primrose Hill, serving bistronomic French food to the happy punters of North London.
In his spare time Mike loves his sport (notably cricket but will have a go at anything), his DIY, and of course his westie, Alfie.
Peter has been writing about wine in one form or another since 2005, originally on the business pages of The Scotsman newspaper and the travel pages of its Saturday magazine, and since 2014 as the wine columnist and drinks blogger for Scottish Field magazine.
He’s also written for Decanter, Club Oenologique and Whisky Quarterly. He graduated with his level four diploma from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in 2015.
When he’s not slurping wine, beer or spirits, Peter is a freelance journalist and copywriter, penning articles for titles including The Lancet, The Times and the Press & Journal.
His debut novel, an historical thriller called Hare, was published in 2014.
