About Please Bring Me My Wine

This is Please Bring Me My Wine, a blog aimed at anyone looking to start getting involved in the world of wine.

There’s so much wine out there, thousands of grapes, hundreds of techniques to make and drink the stuff, and plenty of confusion to be had along the way, but it doesn’t need to be like that.

I only started drinking wine with any idea what I was looking for a few years ago, and even then I was only scratching the surface. So I thought I’d enrol on a few courses, get a bit more info on board, and the difference in just a small time is great.

Plan about the blog is to throw a bit of basic knowledge out there as and when I go through it myself, and hope it helps anyone else.

Comments are welcome, questions are welcome, but overall use this to help walk into that wine shop with a better idea of what you’re up to.

Hope you enjoy it!

  1. I love your site! Thanks for liking my posts, Horror, Valor…And Hope and Thanks, But No Thanks. If you hadn’t, I might not have stumbled upon yours and I’m glad I did 🙂 I’m a wine lover, but I don’t know anything about wine!

  2. Great blog, I would describe myself as an ‘enthusiastic amateur’ when it comes to wine, having been to a few wine tastings and done the WSET level 1, but some of the more ‘technical’ aspects (e.g., what exactly AOC means etc.) I’m still not sure about. Keep up the posts!

  3. Dear friend, Thank you very much, I was really happy to have been following your blog. I’m still a lot to figure out, and here I can only say that you are an awesome blogger, full Inspiring and hope you can inspire more readers. Thanks and greetings compassion from Gede Prama 🙂

  4. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and following me! I am glad to have found you–I think wine courses through my veins instead of blood, and I’m not complaining :)Looking forward to reading more from you!

  5. So glad that you stopped by my blog so that I could find yours! I am a lover of wine, but certainly not well-educated regarding the fine points. I’ll never be the person to blow over $100 USD on a bottle – but I do appreciate when my $15 and under bottle goes really well with my dinner (or dessert, or evening television watching…) All the best!

  6. At the moment we are in Brittany so it’s more cidre than anything else. We are going to be here until after Christmas so are looking for manageable short trips from Morlaix. I don’t suppose now is a great time for visiting vineyards though!

  7. Well, happy we found you! As for a start, we just had a glass of our Freisa before starting to read a couple of articles on your blog. By the way: great name! Love it!

  8. What a pleasure to read your post about our WiNEOLED lamp; it’s perfectly what we are trying to transmit, a new universal way to look at wine before smelling and taste it! thanks a lot and Best Regards
