As I was driving down to Bordeaux in my 20h33 emblazened car, I thought about this being the first time the 20h33 “fleet” would be together. Yes, I said “fleet”. Ok it’s not exactly an aircraft carrier and some destroyers or anything, but a Toyota Hybrid and the VW Combi (that’s been grabbing headlines across Bordeaux) is good enough for us at the minute!
We parked them up close and got the pictures on the go. If I’m honest, I reckon we were both a bit jealous of eachother’s rides. JB probably a bit jealous of the air conditioning and the fact the Toyota always starts when it’s meant to. And I was jealous of the fact that the VW is just, well, so awesomely cool! And my car doesn’t have a moustache, which might have to get fixed this Movember!
In all seriousness though, I was just really happy for JB to see his baby, 20h33, becoming more than just him starting it up in his front room in his house. It’s an increasingly major player in the Bordeaux wine scene in France, and now he’s got muggins here taking it over the Channel to be an international firm. How cool is that?
As with every fledgling business, there’s a long way to go. You’re always told that “you can be on the right path, but if you don’t keep running, you’ll get run over!” But celebrating the little steps, the fun times, and the successes as they come is as important about learning from the difficult times.
We’re working hard, but having lots of fun bringing great Bordeaux wines to our clients. And that’s what it’s all about!

On the note of your wine…where do I purchase in the states? I’m planning a trip to Paris in November, so I’ll need some advice on where to purchase there, too! 🙂
Also, I absolutely love the fleet.
20h33 US is in the pipeline for the future, but as of now the annoying US import rules are in the way! Let me know when you’re in Paris and we’ll sort you out!
Thanks! I’m sad I’ll have to wait, but it will make the trip even better to try your Bordeaux. 🙂
It’ll be worth it, I promise you that!
Haha, I love your title… “Van Du Vin”. Enjoy every second! 🙂
I plan on it!! 🙂 Thanks very much!
I’m in Bordeaux next week – can’t wait …
Amazing, have a great time, give me a nudge if you need any tips!
