I was invited down to check out the Rhone Touch exhibition in Kings Cross last week. It’s something that the Rhone Wine people have done in conjunction with Central Saint Martins art school to get people enjoying the sights, sounds, and smells of the wines in a…well…arty way! I’ll be chatting more about that tomorrow. But today it’s all about what happened when I was there. I got a right bollocking!
I didn’t join the iPhone revolution for years. I’d always gone for the cheap (read “free”) option when it came to picking a handset to go with my phone contract. I’d always ended up with an old school Nokia or Samsung that back in the day had a camera on it that looked more like a drunk painting than a fair reflection on what I was doing at the time. So when all this Instagram thing first happened, it kind of passed me by.
When I started the blog a couple of years back it was all a bit of a blur. I was just trying to throw content out there, which to a certain extent isn’t the worst thing to do at the start. You’ve got to post and be consistent. Over the time you work out what your blog’s going to be about and the format and that. I wanted small, punchy blogs every day that you can read it in a minute and you don’t get bored. With that you need the photos, which was my biggest challenge!
Busy time at the minute with 20h33, with a mixture of wine dinners and sales for Christmas. But it’s definitely a good busy, so I’m definitely not complaining! I’m sure everyone’s gearing down into the year end at the minute, and why not eh? This year’s flown by for me, and I’m now giving it the old “can you believe it’s December already?” Starting to sound worryingly middle aged about it all!!
