#NWTW Week 41: Verdejo From Spain (Part Two)

Flags - Spain

Did I mention we all have a massive soft spot for Spanish wine? Hot on the heels of Rioja week, Ant’s pick for this week is the MASSIVELY underrated Verdejo. A white wine that’ll make your food and your lazy afternoons go to the next level.

I’ll spend the week talking about where it’s from, how it’s made, and why it’s not all that well known yet. But first and foremost it’s time to work out what to drink!

My picks for this week are:

Sainsbury’s
Winemakers’ El Pozo Bueno @ £5.00

Asda
Vina Albali Verdejo Chardonnay @ £4.00

Majestic Wine
Vega de la Reina Verdejo @ £8.49

Spirited Wines
Torrenava Verdejo Rueda @ £9.78

Vinmonopolet
Viña Mayor Rueda 2008 @ NOK 119,90

Happy shopping guys!

Cheers
