Well NWTW is out on tour for August with myself out in Italy and Ant out in California for the next couple of weeks. So Ant has it for the next couple of weeks and he’s plumped for California’s primary white grape; Chardonnay.
There are plenty of different styles of Californian chardonnay, and hopefully somewhere out there there’s one that’ll prove the ABC crowd (those “i like Anything But Chardonnay” idiots, just stop it, it was never funny and you just sound daft!) wrong.
My picks for you to have a look at this week are:
Majestic
Beringer Founders’ Estate, 2012 @ £8.99
Morrison’s
Mirassou, 2012 @ £9.99
Sainsbury’s
Dark Horse Chrdonnay 2012 @ £9.00
Spirited Wines
Hahn Chardonnay, 2012 @ £14.30
Vinmonopolet
Beringer Founders’ Estate, 2010 @ NOK 130
Happy hunting
Cheers
