#NWTW 56 – E is for England!

56 - Rolling Hills of England

Anyone else got “Jerusalem” ringing round in their heads? No? Well let’s see if we can change that this week! You’ve voted for England for the letter E!

Now I’m going to try as best as possible to stick on still wines this week. We all know by now that English Sparkling Wine is fantastic, and rightly winning awards left, right, and centre on the international stage. But there are some seriously impressive still wines being made too, and that’s what my picks will try and focus on…

My picks this week are:

Sainsbury’s
Three Mills Select White @ £3.50

Spirited Wines
Knightor Madeleine Angevine 2012 @ £13.99

Vinmonopolet
Ridgeview Bloomsbury Brut 2012 @ NOK 288 (Sparkling)

Waitrose
Waitrose English White Wine 2013 @ £9.99

Wine Rack
Chapel Down Bacchus 2013 @ £14.99

Happy hunting!

Mike
