We’ve rinsed through the letter A and B, and already powering into the second month of 2015! Amarone and Blanc de Blancs have been great weeks so far, but what’s in store for the letter C?
We’ve had three so far…
Cahors, Cabernet Franc, and Chasselas
I’m going to limit the voting to six options, so I’ve got room for 3 more!
Get yours in to the comments section below…remember it can be a country, a region, a grape, or even a style of wine or spirit. Whatever you want.
The rules are the suggestions must be on the below blog comments, one suggestion per person, and it’s on a first come first served basis.
Get the thinking caps on!
Cheers
Mike
WE HAVE OUR 6!!!!
Cahors, Cabernet Franc, Chasselas, Catalonia, Cava, Carmenere
I think Catalonia offers a ton of interest and options!
it’s in there!
I don’t see Cava on the list?
Cava’s the fifth entry
Great!
Carmenere!
Carmenere completes the list!
While I agree with Talkavino that Cava should be on the list, when I first thought of wines beginning with C, Cotes du Rhone popped into my head!
Cotes Du Rhone just missed out, but Cava’s in there!
I know a lot of people who would disagree with me, but in my humble opinion Cava is the better choice! 🙂
Carmenere or Carignan
Camrnere’s in there!
Chablis but cava is also good
Would have loved Chablis myself!, this democracy thing doesn’t work for me all the time!! 🙂
Glad to see Carmenere made it in! That would’ve been my suggestion.
But is it going to be your vote!?!? 🙂
Chardonnay, Chianti, Claret?
mmmm…Claret!!!
Oops! Didn’t notice the rules. Typical!
There’s always one isn’t there!! 🙂
I know it’s too late and I’ll accept the choices as I don’t have a choice. But, I’m dreaming the Impossible Dream. Castilla-La Mancha? No? Cotes ax du Languedoc? Charlie as in Lonesome Charlie?
You’re going to have to explain Lonesome Charlie to me
Sweet, flavoured wine bringing teen memories of dorm room illness. Dreadful.
I was probably better off not knowing, right?
Exactly.
