In my new line of trying not to get too smashed when I do these tastings, I’m trying just the one bottle this weekend. It’s going to be the TTD Primitivo from Sainsbury’s. This post then is about a food pairing with Primitivo.
Yesterday (or the day before, I can’t remember) we were talking about Puglia and how it’s all about artichokes, tomatoes, and olives. Well I’m going to throw all those into a ragu, get some beef chunks in there and season it well to match the pepper spice of the wine.
Bit of fresh pasta with it? Should be lovely. Pretty simple and easy too!
Cheers
Mike
