- Try and make the suggestion widely available for purchase

I can already think of about 5 or 6 off the top of my head, so I’m expecting some good ones.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Cheers
Mike
Go expensive this week… how about a bit of Gevrey Chambertin??
I’ve actually got a bottle or two in the cupboard, so I’ll pop it in…let’s see how it goes in the voting!
1) Graves – especially White Graves from Pessac-Léognan, IMHO the most under-rated wine from Bordeaux
2) Gewurztraminer – Alsace, Chile, Somontano in Spain, Germany…
3) Godello – possibly the finest white grape coming out of Spain – from everyday drinking up to the heights of As Sortes and beyond
Hang on I’ve already mentioned 4) Germany!!!
Now Frank my friend, to quote the Big Lebowski: “This isn’t ‘Nam, there are rules!”
Which one are you going for?? 🙂
Just wanted to make sure no good ones were missed ;o)
If you haven’t had Godello before then that’s my pick!
Godello it is, pleasure doing business with you!
Gigondas.
Playing by the rules today.
It’s going in!!
Can’t remember the original 52 weeks but how does Greece sound? Sounds warm and Mediterranean to me.
Or, and like Frank I’d like a second (Frank had multiples) suggestion – Gruner Veltliner. Did we do that already? If so, let’s just pop a cork on the Gevry-Chambertin OTBN that we’ve all been jonesing.
I’ll stick you down for Greece
I’ll go for Gewurtztraminer
done!
GSM – goes well with lamb (traditional at this time of year)
Cant believe no one has suggested GSM – very good with lamb
it’s going in
