Massive Congrats To Those Bordeaux Bound
Competitions, France, Guest Blogs, UncategorizedWhilst I’ve been away on my holidays the winners of the Millesima Blog Awards for 2017 have been announced and I’d love to dedicate today’s post as a massive and belated congratulations to all the winners!
Win Some Bubbly For BAFTA Night
Competition, Competitions, Sparkling, UncategorizedTaittinger champagne and Villa Maria from New Zealand are sponsoring this year’s BAFTA awards. From anyone outside these shores that’s the British Academy of Film & Television Arts awards. It’s the big night in film and TV for the British, so only right that there’s plenty of booze on hand to celebrate and commiserate in equal measures!
Bigging It Up In Bordeaux – The Wine Geek Squad
Competitions, France, UncategorizedSo last week I spoke about why I was in Bordeaux on this VIP trip of a lifetime. Before I crack on with what we got up to I thought a quick post on the other excellent boys and girls that were “blog winners” too. Then I don’t have to keep introducing them as I start banging on about the ridiculously cool (and sometimes daft) stuff that we got up to!
To Toma, Maddie, Michelle, Regina, and Jezzer, thanks so much for being top people and adding so much to what was already a phenomenal experience!
And to those of you from Millesima and Bernard Magrez who aren’t mention (yet), apologies, but there are just so many people to thank! I will get round to all of you in the next few posts, I swear!!
Bigging It Up In Bordeaux – The Intro
20h33, Competitions, France, UncategorizedA few weeks back I trooped off to Bordeaux to enjoy my prize for winning the Millesima Blog Awards. I flew out for the 6 days of Primeur Week to have what turned out to be an incredible experience put together by the fine folks at Millesima and their partner for the awards, Bernard Magrez’s group. So much happened over the week that’s worthy of a chat that I’ll be winging off a few posts over the next few weeks, but for now, here’s a quick intro on how it came about.
Massive Congratulations (You Jammy B@stard!)
Competitions, Italy, UncategorizedIt’s finally time to reveal the winner of the Lazenne WineCheck competition. It took us a while to organize a good time to deliver, but now he’s got them we can reveal that the winner was Andrea Briccarello from London. To quote Monty Python; You lucky, lucky bastard! (only kidding)
Coming Up This Week On Please Bring Me My Wine
20h33, Blind Tasting, Competitions, France, WSET, YouTubeIf anything, I’m not sure why I’m bothering with a “Coming Up On…” post today. If it’s anything like last week then it’ll be out of the window by Wednesday regardless. A mixture of Jury Service, trying to get two start-up companies off the ground, market trading, chasing up logistics companies…well, you get the point. My routine has been seriously messed up!
I Need Your Votes – Millesima Blog Awards 2016
20h33, Competitions, UncategorizedRight, you know how I never ask you guys and girls for much? I just write a post every day or so to look after your wine drinking habits. I think we’ll all agree it’s all give give give from me, isn’t it? 🙂
Well now I need your help!
