Anyone Needing A Website In The Wine Trade Needs To Read This

I really like my little “Please Bring Me My Wine” logo.  I got it done by a friend called Naomi who runs a business called Logos2GoGo.  I basically said I wanted something wine related, but with the lettering the style you see on the Withnail & I film poster.  She smashed it!

Since then we’ve kept in touch off and on, and much more “on” recently when she got in touch about her new venture: website design.

Her company’s branched out into designing websites for smaller or start up companies, and she’s had so much interest that she thought she’d teach people how to do it themselves.  She gets a bit of coin for the teaching, and also gets a contact list of freelancers that know how to create websites if she’s completely swamped herself.

Well I’m well up for learning “how to”, especially given I know what daft prices small companies get quoted for building websites.  I look at the wine industry and see lots of potential, from start up firms to wineries who have never been able to afford the thousands that gets quoted to help them out.  It doesn’t have to be that way, and hopefully in a couple of months I’ll be there with an alternative.

Making a bit of coin whilst helping people out by saving them some money?  That’s the win-win right there.

Wish me luck

Cheers

I’M LOOKING FOR A COUPLE OF VOLUNTEERS TO LET ME DO THEM A WEBSITE TO BUILD A PORTFOLIO, IF YOU’RE INTERESTED IN MATE’S RATES THEN GIVE ME A SHOUT VIA MY CONTACT PAGE
